Guarantee Periods by Treatment
Standard Insect Treatments
Most one-off insect treatments (e.g. fleas, ants, moths, beetles, wasps) are covered by a 30-day guarantee from the date of treatment.
Cockroaches & Silverfish
These are single-visit treatments that rely on residual insecticides which may take up to 6 weeks to fully clear activity. To reflect this, they are covered by a 60-day guarantee from the treatment date. Some activity in the first 4–6 weeks is normal while the treatment continues to work. Bed Bugs
- Chemical (2 visits, 3 weeks apart): the 30-day guarantee begins after the second visit once the programme is complete.
- Steam (1 visit): the 30-day guarantee begins on the treatment date.

When Your Guarantee Starts
- Single-visit treatments: from the treatment date.
- Two-visit programmes: from the date of the second visit (completion).
- Rodent proofing: from the date the proofing work is completed.
Conditions of the Bugwise Guarantee
- The treatment programme has been completed and payment made in full.
- You have followed all preparation and aftercare instructions provided by our technicians.
- The property is kept in a hygienic condition, and no new sources of infestation are introduced.
- The guarantee covers recurrence of the original infestation only.
- Proofing guarantees cover the entry points sealed by Bugwise.
